Our Shichon Pups!
Generally, Shichon pups take on the playful little-rascal personality that most Bichon Frise dogs have. Shichon pups also maintain the lapdog stature that is seen in both parents which makes them perfect for traveling and interacting with children.
Shichons typically take on a fur coat that is somewhere in the middle as far as their parents go. Their coat is made up of two layers, an outer layer that is fluffy and somewhat straight with some curl, and an inner layer that is soft and silky. The length of their coat is generally a little longer than that of a Bichon but they can always be groomed according to the owner’s preference. All in all, Shichon puppies are another step in the direction of absolute adorability — they can’t help but cheerfully bounce around your feet as you go!
Beautiful Color & Fur
As a designer breed, these pups take on the VERY best traits their parents have to offer. They maintain a soft hypoallergenic coat while keeping that grizzly brown coloration that is so commonly loved with the Shih-Tzu .
The Teddy Bear Dog
Shichons are colloquially known as the “Teddy Bear Dog” because of their fluffy coat accented with light and tan brown coloration. If you didn’t know better, you’d think you were playing with an Ewok straight out of Star Wars!
Friendly, Cuddly, and Fun
These pups have a very similar behavioral pattern compared to their parental breeds, HOWEVER, they’re considered even more relaxed… making them THE most friendly cuddly-partners one could ask for.
