Our Story

Where it all started…

In 2006 my family and I decided that it was about time for a new addition, and with all the kids well on their way to young-adulthood, we set our sights on the next best thing... a new puppy! We knew we wanted a Yellow Lab because of their gentle demeanor and lust for life, but we didn’t know exactly where or how to get one. After an exhaustive search and countless visits to local dog pounds and dicey breeding kennels, we finally came across an at-home breeder that we could put our trust in.

The overwhelming relief of finally finding someone that we felt was responsible, knowledgeable, and trustworthy gave way to an idea:

“What if, for fun, we reared a new litter of our own? We love puppies and we love the process of raising and caring for our family members… so why not return the favor we found in our dog’s breeder by being that saving grace for the next family looking for a new pup?”

What started off as a small hobby quickly grew into a new passion. I had found something that was both challenging and rewarding, and I felt pretty darn good at it too. With the help and support of my family we were able to establish something special — a place where people can confidently go to find their next best friend.

Having the opportunity to work with our dogs has been a dream-fulfilled that I never knew I had. It is our hope that one of these little pups help fulfill a dream of yours that you never knew you had. Thanks!
